Part 2: What is asceticism?

It is clear that Chris believes strongly in self-sacrifice and giving up modern comforts. In this same spirit, give up a modern comfort that you use almost daily and journal for five days about your sacrificial experience. Good examples of things to give up: dessert, junk food, cell phones, Facebook, TV, Gaming systems, Internet, etc. Be creative in what you give up!

Each journal entry should be around 5-7 sentences and should reflect on how this missing part of your old life is affecting you and how you are better or worse as a result.
